Propellers with a housing around them are called impellers in boatbuilding and turbines in aircraft construction. What they have in common is an increase in power by reducing resistance from the outside to the inside. For example, in bilge and bilge pumps or in cooling water pumps and boat enginesare located these propellers, so technically impellers. To replace an impeller, it is a good idea to have the accessories of a puller tool to make it easier for you to change the impeller.
