insulate the usually disturbing engine or generator noise with insulation panels by lining the engine compartment with them. The flame-retardant polyether foam is easy to work with and can be cut to individual sizes.

The aluminum adhesive tape glues the individual insulation boards together. The polyether foam provides not only noise protection, but also some heat and cold insulation.
