The NASA Battery Monitor BM-1 Compact is designed for monitoring 12 V battery banks. The capacity is up to 600 amp-hours. The unit comes complete with a 100 A sensing resistor (shunt) and a prefabricated wiring harness for easy installation. The battery monitor continuously monitors the on-board voltage, charge
discharge current and battery state of charge percentage, as well as the time remaining for charging or discharging.
Connecting a battery monitor enables more efficient use of the battery, extends battery life and reduces the risk of failure.
