Glass silk fabric is particularly suitable for the construction of fiber composite laminates and the repair of FRP structures. Glass silk fabric can also be used as an abrasion-resistant outer skin for wood structures. When one layer of a fabric with a low basis weight, is impregnated with WEST SYSTEM epoxy resin, the fabric cures completely transparent and can therefore be applied to the outer skin of a clear painted boat.
