OLAS GPS Crew Tracker Bracelet
With the GPS crew tracker wristband from OLAS you have more security on board: If you wear an activated OLAS wristband on your wrist, the paired device will immediately sound an alarm if the Bluetooth connection with the paired device such as cell phone or pad is cut. As soon as the distance is more than 20 m, the device sounds the alarm, so that it can no longer fall overboard unnoticed with a standard yacht crew of 2 people.
Pair your SOLAS wristband either with tablet or smartphone and lasen you the associated free app down. Whether you attach the bracelet to your wrist, lifebuoy, clothing or life jacket is up to you. As soon as the distress bracelet is immersed too far into the water, Bluetooth interruption occurs and your selected device sounds the alarm. You get immediately, the alarm position including time, the course, your coordinates and your distance displayed.
Thanks to the app, you can provide each transmitter with a name and view the battery status of the transmitters. In addition, it helps in an emergency by displaying the text for an emergency call on channel 16 including the GPS position, shows stored emergency numbers and provides instructions for emergency maneuvers.
