Genoa sliders
Genoa sliders or genoa slides are moved on both sides of the boat on the genoa rails attached to trim the headsail (genoa, jibIn general, genoa sliders are distinguished by whether they are mounted on plain bearings or ball bearings, and whether they have stoppers or are infinitely adjustable. If ease of movement and precise adjustment are required, the ball-bearing version with infinitely variable adjustment, possibly even with single or multiple transmission, is advantageous. The dimensioning of the rail is determined depending on sail area and ship weight.
